Jana Trapp advises in all matters of corporate law, in particular with respect to national and international corporate transactions as well as in the field of litigation.
She studied in Düsseldorf and Boston (USA). During this time, she worked as a research assistant in the legal department of a pharmaceutical company in Cambridge (USA) as well as in the corporate/M&A department of Linklaters in Düsseldorf. Following her studies, she obtained her PhD with a thesis concerning stock corporation law and worked as a research assistant in the area of competition law for Linklaters and Gleiss Lutz in Brussels. She completed her subsequent legal clerkship in the district of the Higher Regional Court of Frankfurt am Main with, among others, stages at BaFin (Federal Financial Supervisory Authority) and McDermott Will & Emery, where she also worked as a research assistant in the corporate and real estate law department throughout her entire legal clerkship.
