Hubertus Stuttmann specializes in advising companies, in particular stock corporations (including SE and KGaA), their boards and members of their boards on corporate and capital market law. In addition, Hubertus advises on national and cross-border M&A transactions and restructuring measures as well as in the field of corporate litigation.
Prior to founding LMPS Rechtsanwälte, Hubertus worked for several years as a lawyer in the corporate/M&A practice of the international law firm Linklaters. In 2017/18, he was seconded to Linklaters’ Lisbon office and has since been admitted to the Portuguese bar (Advogado).
Hubertus studied law at the Westfälische Wilhelms University in Münster and received his doctorate with a constitutional law thesis at the Humboldt University of Berlin. During his legal clerkship at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court, Hubertus spent periods at the international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Hamburg and New York and at the Office of the Federal President in Berlin, among others. He also worked as a research assistant in the corporate law departments of the law firms Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Hengeler Mueller.
Hubertus is married and has two children.
