Carl advises his clients on national and international M&A transactions and corporate reorganizations. He also advises on all matters of corporate law, including stock corporation law, group law and capital market law, corporate governance issues and corporate litigation.
Prior to founding LMPS in summer 2020, Carl worked as a lawyer in the Corporate/M&A department of the international law firm Linklaters. He studied with a focus on commercial law at the University of Münster, where he subsequently obtained his doctorate on a competition and antitrust law topic. During his doctoral studies, he worked, among others, as a junior associate at the law firm Hengeler Mueller. He completed his subsequent legal clerkship in the district of the Higher Regional Court of Hamm with stages at Linklaters in Düsseldorf and New York.
Before starting his career as a lawyer, Carl lived in England for a longer time, where he completed a Master of Laws in European Business Law at the University of Essex. Since 2013 he has been admitted to the bar in Düsseldorf.
Carl is married and has three children.
