Dr. Laura Gellisch, LL.M. (UCT)

Laura Gellisch advises on all aspects of corporate law including stock corporation and capital market law as well as corporate governance matters. She also advises on national and cross-border M&A transactions and restructuring measures.

Before joining LMPS, Laura worked as a lawyer for the Düsseldorf-based law firm Glade Michel Wirtz since 2022. During a professional leave of absence, she completed a master’s degree (LL.M.) at the University of Cape Town.

Laura studied law at the University of Münster. She completed her legal clerkship in the district of the Higher Regional Court of Hamm with, among others, a stage in the Corporate/M&A department of the international law firm CMS Hasche Sigle in Cologne and the German Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong.

Following her legal clerkship, Laura worked as a research assistant at the Chair for Civil Law, Competition and Regulatory Law, Law of the Digital Economy at the University of Cologne, where she received her doctorate (Dr. iur.) focussing on a topic at the intersection of antitrust and regulatory law. During this time, she also completed a postgraduate master’s program in business law.
