Daniel Meyer advises in all matters of corporate law and specializes in stock corporation, group of companies and capital markets law, mergers & acquisitions and compliance. A particular focus of his practice is on board advice and directors’ liability issues, internal investigations, corporate litigation and public takeovers.

Until the establishment of LMPS Rechtsanwälte in 2020, Daniel worked as a lawyer in the Corporate/M&A department for the international law firm Linklaters in Düsseldorf and Munich since 2010. During a professional leave of absence, he completed a master’s degree at the University of California in Berkeley. He studied in Münster and after his studies he worked as a research assistant at the Institute for International Business Law at the University of Münster, where he received his doctorate with a topic on corporate acquisitions. At the same time, he completed the postgraduate course “Mergers & Acquisitions” there. He completed his legal clerkship in the district of the Higher Regional Court of Hamm with stations at Linklaters in Düsseldorf and Singapore, among others.

Daniel regularly publishes articles in commentaries, handbooks and leading professional journals on current corporate law issues. He is a lecturer at the University of Münster (public takeovers, squeeze out and delisting).

Daniel has one son.
