Jochen Lüdicke advised in company, partnership and inheritance related tax matters with a special focus on family entrepreneurs and family enterprises including succession cases. This includes the establishment of fund and foundation structures and investment in tangible assets. Additionally, he represents clients in tax court proceedings (including proceedings at the Federal Tax Court, the Constitutional Court, The European Court of Justice and the European Court of Human Rights).
Prior to founding Lüdicke & Kollegen Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft, the predecessor of LMPS Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft, he worked for about 28 years as a partner at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (and the predecessor firms) and led internationally the family owned business sector. From 1984 to 1992 he worked (finally as a partner) at KPMG Peat Marwick in the Frankfurt am Main and Munich offices.
Jochen regularly publishes on national and international tax law. He is editor of the annual booklets issued by the Federal Association of Tax Advisor, where he was President from 2012 to 2024, was editor of the first and second edition of a book on Business Taxation (C.H.Beck), six editions of a book on closed end funds (C.H.Beck), author of a book on German tax credits (Otto-Schmidt), author in Real Estate – legal (chapter of real estate funds) (Springer), co-author in Munich Handbook of company law (Münchener Handbuch des Gesellschaftsrechts, Bd. 9 (C.H.Beck)) and co-commentator in Flick/Wassermeyer/Baumhoff/Schönfeld on German Foreign Tax Law (Außensteuerrecht) (Otto-Schmidt). He is recognised since decades as a leading lawyer.
Jochen is married and has three (adult) sons.
